Our Rūmaki Reo classroom caters for students from Year 0 to Year 5. We offer a diverse and comprehensive curriculum that helps all students reach their full academic, physical and social potential through the medium of Te Reo Māori me ōna Tikanga.
I believe it takes a community to raise a child. With the commitment and support of whānau and the wider community; we are succeeding in building Māori language through our history and culture.
My ultimate goal as a teacher is to facilitate and encourage students to reach their highest potential when given a safe and caring environment in which to take risks for their academic and personal growth. This allows them to develop an enthusiasm for learning, inspiring tamariki to achieve more, question more, and dream more.
